This module will cover:

An outline of what the ATO look for in GST and property matters; and
A practical guide to effect GST planning - from contract clauses to lodging your BAS and navigating the GST withholding rules.

Specialist - Financial Supplies provides training in GST and its application to the financial services sector.
This module will provide an overview of:

the areas that are high on the ATO's compliance agenda.

Specialist - Managing Compliance and the ATO is a short course on working with the ATO and understanding its compliance program in relation to the GST.
This module will cover:
an overview of how the ATO undertakes its GST compliance activities;
what to expect if you are subject to a review or audit;
the ATO’s data matching regime and how to be prepared for the inevitable phone call;
managing GST risk through the private ruling system;
avoiding penalties and interest;
what to do if you disagree with the ATO’s position; and
insights as to the areas that are high on the ATO's compliance agenda.
