PwC to offer outsourced finance to the NFP sector

PwC Australia today announced it is launching a new, affordable outsourced CFO offering to the Not-For-Profit (NFP) sector. Developed as part of the firm’s social impact strategy, the new offering is designed to alleviate resource constraints and skills shortages across the sector, while improving processes and cost efficiencies.

Belinda Louis, Director in PwC’s Outsourced CFO team, said, “PwC has a long track record of working across the NFP sector in a pro bono and low bono capacity and we are passionate about helping these organisations have the most impact.

“We’ve consulted widely across the sector and we believe a simple, affordable outsourced finance offering will enable charities to save money and time so they can focus on delivering their purpose.”

The scope of services that will be covered by the new offering range from simple bookkeeping to the full suite of CFO services, including financial and management reporting, compliance obligations, and operational efficiencies.

“PwC Private has delivered outsourced CFO services to Australian and foreign businesses for many years. We’ve taken the systems and processes we’ve developed for our private sector clients, and combined them with our deep knowledge of the NFP sector, to develop a tailored offering we believe will meet the needs of charities and other NFP organisations,” Ms. Louis said. “We’re excited by the impact we believe this offering can have across the sector.”
