PwC Australia has today announced 42 new partner admissions, taking the total partner numbers to 807.
Twenty-one of the new partners work in financial advisory, sixteen work in consulting, while four work in assurance and one works in enabling functions.
PwC Chief Executive Officer, Tom Seymour said “We are excited to welcome these incredibly talented individuals to the partnership and congratulate them on this great milestone.
“Our FY22 partner admissions class to date comprises 19 internal admissions to the partnership which will take place on 1 January 2022, as well as 23 lateral partners who have joined the firm since July.
“These promotions show our commitment to building great career paths for our people across all our businesses.
“The breadth of capabilities and experience in our new partner group reflects strong growth across all three of our businesses, Financial Advisory, Consulting and Assurance, as we help our clients work through continued complexity in the COVID environment.
“We’ve had a great start to the year with all our businesses experiencing strong revenue growth to date, and this is reflected in our partner intake. We’ve seen strong demand for our integrated advice and the offerings we are providing across many significant projects and transactions taking place in Australia in the last six months.
“We are continuing to accelerate our efforts to make our partnership more diverse and inclusive, with 33 per cent of the 42 new partners in our FY22 admissions to date being women and 19 per cent are from a non-European Diverse Cultural Background.”
