Independent non-executive Governance Board Member, PwC Australia
Lisa is joining our Governance Board as an independent non-executive Board Member. Lisa has experience as a non-executive director of professional services firms, privately-held companies, for-purpose and ASX-listed company boards in commercial property, financial services, creative arts and community services.
Lisa is the Chair of Australian Unity Limited, a non-executive director of AV Jennings Limited, the Committee for Sydney, the Foundation of the Art Gallery of NSW, The Front Project, the Sydney Community Foundation and Artspace. She previously was Deputy President of Trustees of the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences, a non-executive director of APN Outdoor Group Limited, Chair of Urbis, and Chairman of The Benevolent Society, Australia’s first charity.
Lisa began her career as a lawyer. After appointment as a partner, she was elected as a member of the Board of Partners, National Leader for the Property, Projects and Government Practice and Sydney Managing Partner. Lisa has led organisations through regulatory change and brings extensive governance experience. She is a regular contributor to discussion panels on various aspects of governance for the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and has twice co-presented the AICD’s annual Essential Director Update.
