You Matter, a not-for-profit based in Melbourne, create ‘Havens of Hope’ — fully equipped and comfortable homes — for women and their children escaping family violence. To help boost their impact, we co-designed and delivered a Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, replacing outdated tools that previously housed their vital donor information.

By unifying previously siloed donor data into one seamless cloud platform, You Matter can now effortlessly track, manage and forecast funds from their support base. This transformation empowers them to build deeper connections with donors, communicate more effectively, and harness data-driven insights to grow their income. With this newfound efficiency, You Matter can focus more on providing hope, safety and brighter futures to those in need.

Client ambition

You Matter is a small volunteer-run organisation, but its ambitions far exceed its size. With a strategic goal to ensure every eligible woman in North and Eastern Melbourne can access its services, the organisation is focused on building a foundation for long-term sustainability and scalability, ensuring a lasting and meaningful impact.

To achieve this vision, You Matter recognised that its critical donor information could no longer remain fragmented across spreadsheets and disconnected documents. Seeking a smarter and more integrated technology solution, they turned to PwC for support.

Collaboration for skills transfer and lasting impact

Together, with You Matter and our Alliance partner Salesforce, we co-designed and implemented the Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud solution in a pro bono engagement. 

Working remotely and at pace, we employed agile methodologies to collaborate closely with all parties. This approach allowed us to quickly gather insights, demonstrate the proposed platform’s capabilities, and refine the final solution to perfectly align with their needs. It required only minimal tailoring to You Matter, creating a largely out-of-the-box, easy-to-use solution.

Purpose-built for not-for-profits, this comprehensive platform gives You Matter all it needs to better track, manage and engage with donors in more meaningful ways.

We prioritised empowering You Matter from the very beginning, providing comprehensive training to ensure they could confidently take full ownership of the platform. This approach enabled them to unlock its full potential for long-term success.

Salesforce donated 10 Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud licences and ongoing support of a Salesforce architect to You Matter.

You Matter now has the technology foundation to track and action donor information and forecast revenue more effectively. It is better equipped to grow their income and help support more women and children escaping family violence.
